maximum city

Been reading "Maximum City: Bombay Lost and Found" by Suketu Mehta (Penguin 2004).

Am more than half-way thru it. Haven't skipped a page so far.

Hmmm.
Is it going to make itself available on my list of "read again and again" books?

NOT likely.

but for now it is quite the "un-putdownable" book. The stories are strictly O.K.
The book isn't telling me anything that i don't already know of about this city (courtesy living here since birth, bindaas friends, books etc).

So can't really call it an experience.I really expect books to do that for me.
