Kishore Kumar's Birthday.
The day was invested in listening to his songs and his yodelling in between meetings site visits and a coffee.
Alongwith Manna Dey, and Rafi Saab, he was a playback singer whose voice will lilt many hearts for years to come.(Sorry Mukesh lovers...I ain't a Mukesh fan)
People close to him confirm his eccentric nature, but Genius has its eccentricities.
I wonder aloud...if Kishore Da were amongst us today would he have kept quiet about the ubiqueity of the drivel that gets paraded around as "music, melody and song".
My guess is as good as anyone else's.
