goli

Etymology is a wonderful thing...

been wondering how the name Golibar happened ..its a place in santacruz- a suburb of mumbai.

was it the scene of a major goli-baari?

or..was there a bar in that area called goli?

amusing.

    there's one in Pune, Golibar maidan..I think they must be practaising Goli bari in the bristish times...thats the most profound logic i found!!
